Eleanor R. Riley went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Hibbing, MN on June 23, 1928, to Rudy and Helen Kesich. She graduated with honors and worked in Illinois and St. Paul, MN before returning to Hibbing, MN.
She was very active in the St. Leo’s Parish and was a lay Eucharistic minister. She had strong religious faith and was most recently a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Eleanor was married to Navy veteran John H. Riley, and is survived by daughters Roselyn and Diane; a son, Terrence; grandsons Jay and Major; and a sister, Anne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents Rudy and Helen; a sister, Dorothy Tuchner; and a brother, Mike Kesich.
Eleanor will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends. Her kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on many. Although she is gone, she will never be forgotten.
As Eleanor requested, a private family funeral service was held with Fr. Gabriel Waweru presiding.
