She is survived by her husband, Robert Koschak of Hibbing; four children: Debby (Mike) Lundquist, Hibbing, Marilu (Rob) Gilanders, Gig Harbor, WA, Thomas (Debbi) Koschak, Colorado Springs, CO, and Susan (John) Mago, East Bethel, MN; her brother, Thomas (Joyce) Trewartha, Florida; seven grandchildren:  Derek (Jessie) Lundquist, Hibbing, Ian Lundquist, Hibbing, Dillon and Collin Gilanders, both of Gig Harbor, WA, Ken Koschak, Phoenix, AZ, Erin Koschak, Colorado Springs, CO, and Patrick Cooke, East Bethel, MN; three step-grandchildren: Lucas, Dalton, and Jonah, all of East Bethel, MN; three great-grandchildren, Janalynn, Owen, and Easton; and many nieces and nephews.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elsie.

Funeral services for Betty will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  The Rev. Jim Deters will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:30am until the 12:00 noon service at the funeral home on Thursday.  A private family interment will take place in Chisholm Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Northstar Hospice in Hibbing.  The family extends sincere gratitude to the caring staff at Guardian Angels.  Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
