Elizabeth J. Skalsky, 70, formerly of Hibbing died Friday, September 8, 2017 in Chisholm, MN. She was born on April 13, 1947 to Milton and Anne
Jenson in Lafayette, IN. A homemaker by trade, Elizabeth was a devote matriarch. Her family was her most important hobby in life. She was also a very active church member of Assembly of God church in Chisholm. Some of Elizabeth’s pastimes included crafts, cooking, gardening, and sewing to name a few.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome Skalsky, Chisholm, MN, children, Milton (Danielle) Jenson, Chisholm, MN, John (Liz) Skalsky, and Jerry (Jolena) Skalsky, both of Brownsville, WI, siblings, Debra White, California, and Jackie Bailey, Hibbing, MN, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. she was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Anne Jenson.
Per Elizabeth’s request there will be a memorial service held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Chisholm Assembly of God in Chisholm. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
