Florine E. Treno, 89, Hibbing died Monday December 31, 2012 at the Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hibbing.   She was born February 13, 1923 to David and Emma (Rice) Erwin in Pierre, SD.  She was employed with MRMC as a Unit Assistant with nursing services in Hibbing.  She had been a resident of Hibbing for the past 20 years.  Florine grew up in South Dakota, moving to Nashwauk in 1944.  There she raised her family and finally moved to Hibbing in 1990.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Women of the Moose, the Tourist Senior Citizens Center of Hibbing, the Hibbing, Itasca, and St. Louis County Historic Societies.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Caroline) Treno, Calhoun, LA., Patrick (Diane) Treno, Pengilly, MN., and Thomas (Marcia) Treno, Plymouth, MN., her nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Treno, daughter, JoAnne Treno, her husband, Michael Treno in 1966, and her parents, David and Emma (Rice) Erwin.
Funeral services for Florine will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  The Deacon Raymond Sampson will officiate.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday.  A private family spring interment will take place at the Nashwauk Cemetery in Nashwauk, MN.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  Memorials are preferred to the Hibbing Animal Shelter.  To sign her online guestbook, please visit us at www.doughertyofhibbing.com
