Frances Ann Borbiconi
Frances Ann Borbiconi, 72, lifetime resident of Hibbing, died suddenly at her home on Thursday, August 23, 2012.  She was born on January 16, 1940, in North Hibbing, the youngest of three girls born to Frank and Julia Brick.  After a joyful upbringing in North Hibbing, Fran married Ron Borbiconi on February 1, 1957, at Blessed Sacrament Church.   Fran was a beautiful loving wife, a wonderful mother, and a marvelous homemaker.  She loved her home and her beautiful flower garden but most of all cherished spending time with her loving family.
Fran is survived by her husband, Ron Borbiconi;  a son, Craig Borbiconi, Hibbing; a daughter, Leslie and her husband Joe Antunovich, Evanston, IL; a sister, Dorothy Calabrese, of Minneapolis and her children Jaime Calabrese and Jason Calabrese; a brother-in-law, Paul Gustafson, of Hibbing; and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth Gustafson.
Visitation will be Monday August 27, 2012 in Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing from 9:30 AM until the 11 AM memorial service.  Private interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Salvation Army or Hibbing Northstar Hospice.  To sign the guestbook online, please visit www.doughertyofhibbing.com.
