Gary Willard Carlson, 63, Hibbing, died Monday, June 6, 2016 in Grand Rapids, MN. O n August 13, 1952, Gary Willard Carlson was born to Willard and Bertha Carlson. He attended Hibbing public schools where he met lifelong friends. His work kept him grinding away at National steel, but when he could, he loved to travel, especially road trips. He was fond of music, mayhem and fast cars, and he lived life to its fullest for over six decades.
He was preceded in death by Willard and Bertha Carlson, and significant other Wanda Olson.
He is survived by his son Brook, his sisters Virginia (Roger) Christiansen, Doreen Gleason (Scott), his brother Kenny and his grandson Jayden Carlson. Many nephews and nieces. best friend "Buddy" and former wife Debi Belak Sundquist
A celebration of the life of Gary Willard Carlson will be held at Bennett Park Pavilion in Hibbing

June 15 at 1:00 pm
