Gary A. Fox, 63, Hibbing, died Monday, November 4, 2013, at his home.  He was born in Crosby, MN on Nov. 26, 1949, to Alvin and Grace Fox.  Gary grew up in Crosby and graduated from Crosby High School.  He attended St. Cloud State University and was working at the Ski-Doo factory in Crosby when he met and married Jeanine LeBlanc.  He and Jeanine moved to Grand Rapids where Gary worked for Hoover Construction.  They later moved to Chisholm where they were known to have the best parties in town.  When Gary tired of construction work, he sold real estate for a short time and then began a career in insurance.  He lived and worked in Hibbing for over 30 years as owner/operator of American Family Insurance/Gary Fox Agency.  He volunteered as a youth baseball and basketball coach and was a member of the Hibbing Chamber of Commerce.  Gary was also a past Master and past Master Mason with Mesaba Lodge 255, a member of Aad Temple Shrine in Duluth, All Scottish Rite Bodies, and the Blue Lodge.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time at his cabin with family and friends.  He loved working on race cars owned by a friend in Crosby.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanine Fox of Hibbing; a son, Neal Fox of Hibbing; and two sisters, Deanna (Walt) Erickson of St. Cloud and Darlene (Raleigh) Kinney of Mesa, AZ.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Hibbing, from 11:30 AM until the 12 Noon funeral Mass.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.  Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.
