Gary L. Stahl

Gary L. Stahl, 77, lifelong Hibbing resident died Saturday December 22, 2018 at   home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Hibbing to Albert and Annie (Marchetti) Stahl on June 9, 1941 and was an Army Veteran having served in Vietnam.  He enjoyed curling, hunting, fishing, camping and bocce ball.

Gary will be missed by his bride of 47 years Judy, 2 sons, Jeffrey (Sue) Stahl, and Thomas (Jessica) Stahl both of Hibbing, 4 sisters, Doris Wiehe, Roseville, MN, Diane (Lenny) Sandberg, Side Lake, Marlene (Toby) Neuenschwander, Hibbing, and Carol Anderson, Grand Rapids, MN, 4 grandchildren who will act as pallbearers, Brady, Patrick, Hannah, and Jacob Stahl, and one great-grandson, Noah Stahl.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Jack Wiehe and Dave Anderson.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm. Saturday December 29, 2018 in the Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing with visitation starting at 11:30 am.  Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery Columbarium.  Military Honors will be accorded by Mid-Range Honor Guard.
