Gertrude D. Niemi, 92, Hibbing, died Wed. Oct. 17, 2012 in Chisholm, MN. She was born Dec. 20, 1919 in Duluth, MN, the daughter of William and Jessie Rezac. Gertrude was raised in Hibbing and was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and the W.S.C.S.
She is survived by her good friend Esther Mackey of Hibbing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, in the Dougherty Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Tilton officiating. Visitation will start at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
