Grace C. Kotula

Grace C. Kotula, 94, Hibbing, died Wed. Nov. 9, 2016, in Hibbing.  She was born Jan. 21, 1922, in Hibbing to Louis and Ida Nicolelli.  Grace married Anton Kotula in 1945. Grace was a dedicated mother who took care of the family she loved. She was a faithful member of the Blessed Sacrament Church. During World War II she worked at the Hull Rust Mine as a crane operator.  Grace enjoyed cooking and catering, Red Hat Society and playing bridge with her friends .

She is survived by her children Richard Kotula of Hibbing and Susan (George) Protos of Atlanta, GA; her sister, Louise Perunovich, of Hibbing; a grandson; and 4 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anton; two sons: John and Thomas Kotula; and a brother, Gene Nicolelli.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  Visitation will be in the church from 11:30 a.m. until service time.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.
