Helen M. Margo

Helen M. Margo, 95, Hibbing, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, in her home.  She was born in Hibbing on Oct. 3, 1920, to Pasquale and Anna (Sconci) DiMarchi.  Helen graduated from Hibbing High School and was united in marriage to John Margo in 1943, while John was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.  They lived in Laguna Beach, CA before settling in Hibbing.  Helen worked as a secretary for her brother, Frank DiMarchi, at Hibbing Dental Lab for over 30 years.  She was a wonderful, loving wife and mother who will be missed terribly.

She is survived by a daughter, Roberta Margo, of Hibbing; a brother, John DiMarchi, of New Jersey; by numerous nieces and nephews; and by three close family friends, Katherine Sandnas of Hibbing, Carole McCarley of Bemidji, and Carol Peterson of Virginia.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2006; by her parents; by a brother, Frank DiMarchi; and by a sister, Mary Propotnick.
