Homer Harry Hart Jr.

Homer H. Hart Jr., 86, Hibbing died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hibbing.  He was born on November 8, 1927 to Homer Sr. and Jessie Mae (Jerry) Hart in Deer River, MN.  He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army.   Homer married Shirley DeChambeau on April 7, 1949.  Homer enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting, and putzing in the garage.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Hart, Hibbing, MN; children: Richard (Kathy) Hart, Chisholm, MN, Cheryle (Steve) Rancourt, Hibbing, David (Lucy) Hart, Chisholm, MN, Gary (Jodi) Hart, Sheboygan, WI., Jessica Hart, Spooner, WI, and Ginger Hart, Hibbing, MN; a sister, Jeanne Mattfield, Grand Rapids, MN; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Hart; by his parents, Homer Sr., and Jessie Mae, and step-father, William Erickson, two sisters, Ida Mae Hill, Izzetta Hulbert, and brother, Gaylen Hart, and his grandson, Blake Hart Lemke.
