Hunter Oliver Hill

Hunter Oliver Hill, 8 week old son of Dan and Heather Hill, Lavell, Twsp, MN, died unexpectedly, Wed. Oct. 26, 2016 in their home.  He was born Sept. 1, 2016, the opening day of bear season, in Hibbing and was baptized this past Sunday in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  In the short time Hunter was with us, he lived a very full life.  He loved midnight cruises around Lavelle, and spending time outdoors with his family, whether it was horseback riding, barn chores, watching his older brothers and sister chase chickens, four wheeling, going to football games, being at family bonfires or going to the hunting shack.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his brothers and sister: Riley, Annalise and Jacob, maternal grandparents: William and Debra Lewis of Hibbing and paternal grandparents: Dennis C. and Janyce Hill of Hibbing;  maternal great grandparents: Terry and Ardythe Johnson of Hibbing and Raymond and Linda Lewis of Zim, MN; his paternal great grandfather Lester Mandler of Hibbing; his uncle and godfather: Terry (Lisa Schiele) Lewis of Cherry and uncle and aunt: Tom and Megan Hill of Bemidji, MN,  his godmother Katie Betters and many cousins including Hailey Lewis

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Hibbing.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time in the church.  Burial will be in the Lavell Cemetery.
