James D. McNamara III
James D. McNamara, III, 68, Rogers, formerly of Hibbing, died Monday August 26, 2013, at his home in Rogers.  He was born in Duluth, MN on Sept. 11, 1944, to James D. and Angeline McNamara, Jr.  Jim graduated from Duluth Denfeld High School and had worked for US Steel at Minntac for 44 years, retiring as an electrical foreman.  A Hibbing resident for 40 years, Jim was a member and past-president of Mesaba Country Club, the Hibbing Curling Club and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Kelly (Bob) Edlund, of Maple Grove, MN; a son, Jamie (Tina) McNamara of Otsego, MN; two grandchildren, Connor and Casey Edlund; and by five nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael McNamara.
Visitation will be Thursday August 29, 2012, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; from 9:30 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.  Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.  To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.doughertyofhibbing.com.
