James F. “Jim” Newman
James F. “Jim” Newman, 89, Hibbing, died Friday, August 08, 2014, at Guardian Angels Health Care Center, Hibbing.   He was born on January 5, 1925, in Remer, MN to Leroy and Irene Newman.  Jim had worked in the logging industry for many years.   He loved the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of Hibbing; by four children:  Diane (Robert Peterson) Davey of Gilbert, Dennis Newman of Hibbing, Jimmie (Beth Sheppard) Newman of Virginia, and Kelly (Jeremy) Aho of Hibbing; a brother, Dennis (Marlene) Newman of Chisholm; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and by numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Roberta (Barry) Collins of Hibbing.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents and by ten siblings.
