Jean 'Jeannie' Marie (Potter) Syverson

Jean ³Jeannie² Marie Syverson, 49, of Nashwauk, formerly of Pengilly, passed
away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at the Fairview University Medical
Center-Minneapolis.
She was born on July 4, 1962, in Hibbing to Mary Anne and Delmar L. Potter
Sr. Jeannie was married to Myron "Cub" Syverson on Oct. 9, 1998, in Hibbing.
She was a 1980 graduate of Greenway High School and a graduate of Hibbing
Vocational and Technical School. Jeannie was a dedicated and hard worker,
spending 20 plus years at Hibbing Electronics.
She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Myron ³Cub² Syverson of Nashwauk; sons
Anthony "Tony" (Michelle) Potter of Hibbing, and Allen Syverson of Nashwauk;
stepson, Kevin (Mindy) Syverson of Fresno, Ohio; stepdaughter Hannah
(Steven) Woodward of Fresno, Ohio; grandson, Tegan Woodward of Fresno, Ohio;
sisters: Debbie (Glen) Longtin of rural Bovey, Sandy Thompson (Randy Sainio)
of Hibbing, Lucy (Pat) Coughlin of Nashwauk, Billie Olson of Fergus Falls,
Minn., and Jacki Dunford of Brandon, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her mother; father; brother, Delmar
"Butchie" Potter Jr; and nephew, Michael Thompson.
Funeral: A service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at the Cloverdale
Hall.
Burial: Inurnment will be at a later date.
