Jeanette Vivian Kleffman
Jeanette V. Kleffman, 80, Hibbing died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Fairview University Medical Center-Mesabi in Hibbing. She was born on April 7, 1932, to Manley and Inez (Andrews) Hubbard in Cohasset, MN. She was a graduate of Hibbing High School, class of 1950, of which she remained very active. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. She entered the sacrament of marriage with David Kleffman on November 22, 1950. Together, they raised their family of six children. Jeanette was centered around her family. Her family was the most important thing to her and homemaking was her way of life. Jeanette was known for her excellent baking skills, specializing in cookies baked with love for her grandkids. She enjoyed taking long walks, loved her cabin on Sturgeon Lake, taking pontoon rides and most of all; spending time with her children and grandkids.
She is survived by her six children: David (Judy) Kleffman, Perch Lake, MN, Gary Kleffman, Hibbing, Dennis Kleffman, Hibbing, Nancy (Joe) Roberts, Hibbing, Susan (Jeff) Anderson, Hibbing, and James Kleffman of Gilbert, MN; her nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Kleffman, in 2003; parents, Manley and Inez; three brothers, Don, Bruce, and Jim Hubbard; and three sisters, Ione Argir, Delores Lambert, and Joyce Scott.
Funeral services for Jeanette will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 1, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hibbing. Visitation will be held in the church on Friday for one hour prior to the funeral Mass. A private family interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing following the reception. Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
