Joan L. Bymark

Joan passed away on August 19, 2018 in Hibbing at age 83.  She was born in Oak Park, IL and moved to Biwabik as an infant.  She graduated from Biwabik High School and following secondary education she worked at Erie Mining Co. until moving to Hibbing in 1966.  During her life in Hibbing, Joan worked part time at the Mesaba Clinic, the Hibbing Schools and served as a volunteer with the Fairview Range Hospital auxiliary.  Following her husband’s retirement she enjoyed winter trips to Honolulu walking the beaches, sun bathing and visiting with friends.

Joan is survived by her husband John, sons: Jim (Jeanne) and Todd (Kathryn), grandchildren: Nina, Tom, Grace, Jeffrey and Ellie and a sister Jean (Rick) Goodman.  She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Angie Brennan.

Private family funeral services will be held at a later date followed by interment in the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik.
