Jon William Nicholls
Jon William Nicholls, 70, Virginia, formerly of Hibbing died Thursday November 16, 2017 at Essentia St. Mary’s in Duluth. He was born in Hibbing to William and Ruth (Clark) Nicholls on June 23, 1947. Jon enjoyed puzzles and watching people cook. He was an assembler at the Eveleth Day Activities Center.
He is survived by his sister, Peggy (Robert) Dilla, and brother Jeff Nicholls, both of Hibbing and several nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at 11:00 am., Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing with the Rev. Andrew Petter officiating. Visitation will be for one hour before the service. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. A special thank you to his guardian Michelle Schloesser, his home supervisor, Liz Schultz, home nurse, Julie Fossum, the staff at both the Aldrich House and Eveleth Day Activities Center. Also a grateful acknowledgement to the doctors and nurses in the ICU Unit at Essentia St. Mary’s in Duluth.
