Joseph Thomas Pretasky
Joseph Thomas Pretasky, 54, Hibbing, was called home by God after a 3 ½ year battle with cancer on Sunday, July 31, 2016 in Grand Rapids, MN. He was born in La Crosse, Wis. to James and Teresa Pretasky on September 29, 1961, attended Holmen High School, Holmen, Wis. and had worked as a painter for many years. Joe loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing. Most important was family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Alicia Pretasky, Hibbing, and Thomas Pretasky, Eau Claire, Wis. his father, James Pretasky, Tripoli, Wis., friend and former wife, Margaret Pretasky, Hibbing, his brothers; Dan, Bill (Diane), Tim (Becky), Steve (Angie), Ted (Anne), his sisters; Teresa, Cindy (Dan), Nancy, and Sandy, 2 grandchildren, Zoe Tisdell and Mason Pretasky, and many nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Pretasky and brother, Jim Pretasky.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 in the Log Church of Tripoi, Wisconsin.
