Joyce E. Stone

Joyce E. Stone’s life journey ended March 22 ^nd , 2017.  She was a lifelong resident of Hibbing and a member of First Lutheran Church.  Joyce was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She truly enjoyed her career at Hibbing Community College and her interactions with staff and students.    She is survived by her daughters Lynn Stone of Apple Valley, MN, Nancy Stone of White Bear Lake, MN and Julie (Steve) Bartek  of Chisholm, MN;  grandchildren: Megan Showalter, Jaren Jagaraj, Chella Jagaraj, Adam (Becca) Tretsven, Alex (Kari) Tretsven, Stephanie Bartek and Tyler Bartek; great-grandchildren: Haley, Nicholas, Chloe, Grace, Camille, Wesley,  nephews and a niece.  She was preceded in death by husband, George Stone, parents Tunie and Harry Johnson, and her brother Donald.  A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held Saturday, April 1 ^st , 11:00 a.m., at First Lutheran Church in Hibbing.  The Rev. Ben Schori will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour before the service.
