Judith I. Ording Cross
Judith I. Ording Cross, 70, of Hibbing, died Sat. Nov. 3, 2012, in Hibbing. She was born Dec. 7, 1941, the daughter of Karl and Blanche Ording, in Moorhead, MN. She went to college for one year following her journalism dream. She married Leon Cross September 2nd, 1960, and they moved to the twin cities. She and Leon had 2 daughters, Laurie Lynn (now deceased) and Debra Lee. She moved with her family to Hibbing in 1966, where she worked as a secretary for the Boy Scout office and then for CMA church. She was also very involved in the Methodist church where she was instrumental in developing and maintaining the library, along with volunteering for many church functions.
Judy loved to read, chat on the phone with friends, spoil her cats and journal. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Debra Cross of Eden Prairie.
Funeral services will be held at Noon, Saturday; November 17, 2012 in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time.
