Judith "Judy" Lynn Novak

Judith “Judy” Lynn Novak age 65 of Hibbing passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing with family by her side. She was born January 5, 1958 to John and Carol (Regal) Novak in Hibbing. Judy was a 1977 graduate of Hibbing High School. Following graduation, she was employed at the Range Center in Chisholm. Judy was a talented artist and several of her pieces were sold at SOHO in Hibbing. She also participated in the Special Olympics. Judy had a great sense of humor and was funny, she loved animals and always enjoyed going over to family members houses for dinner and get togethers. She was always up for a movie and liked spending time at the family cabin on 5 Island Lake boating, camping and doing other outdoor activities. Judy also enjoyed traveling, she took trips to Hawaii, the Mediterranean and various places around the US. She greatly loved her family. Judy is survived by her siblings, John Novak, Hibbing, MN, Terry (Sue) Novak, Nevis, MN, Janine (Paul) Carnel, Portland, OR, Tracey (Michael) Porcelli, Hibbing, MN, Stephanie (Dave) Hanson, St. Paul, MN, nephews, Andy Novak, Travis Porcelli, Dane (Sarah) Porcelli, Evan Hanson, William Hanson and Cole Carnel. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Carol. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Monday, September 25, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
