Judith A. Paulsen

Judith A. Paulsen, 77, of Hibbing, MN, passed away on October 28, 2024. She was born in Grand Rapids, MN on December 22, 1946.

Judith married Robert O. Paulsen on July 1, 1966, in Hibbing, MN. She was a long-time resident of Hibbing and it’s where she and Robert raised their family. Judith enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching the Minnesota Twins, and having card nights with her family. Judith loved baking and always made sure to have a sweet treat on the table for everyone to enjoy!

Judith is survived by her son, Jim Paulsen; siblings, Richard Rich of Kelly Lake, MN, Peg Van Eps of Cyrus, MN, Doris Martin of Eldorado, IL, and Nancy Freeman of Duluth, MN; grandchildren, Miranda, Michele, and Emily Paulsen of Hibbing, MN; and her great-granddaughter, Malia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Wilma Rich; husband, Robert Paulsen; son, Matt Paulsen; brother, Terry Rich; brothers-in-law, Bob Van Eps, Lynnie Martin, and Ralph Freeman; and daughter-in-law, Shannon Paulsen.

A private graveside service for Judith will be at the Fredheim Norwegian Church Cemetery in Effie, MN. There will be a celebration of Judith’s Life from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hibbing. Rev. Kevin Olson will officiate. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
