Katherine “Katie” Gibson
Katherine “Katie” Gibson, Hibbing, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.  She was born in Keewatin to Tom and Mary Brletich on December 27, 1932 and married George L. Gibson in 1957.   Katie was an excellent cook and caterer finishing her cooking career at Zimmy’s.
Katie will be missed by her children, John Gibson, Jerry (Diana) Gibson, and Carrie (Adam) Schoeben, siblings, Frank (Nancy) Brletich, Charlie Brletich, and Rose (Dick) Moe, sister in law, Betty Brletich, 4 grandchildren, Ben Schoeben, Justin (Magan) Schoeben, Krysta Gibson, and Karey (Cody) Kruchoski, and one great grandson, Tucker Schoeben.  She was prededed in death by her parents, her husband, George, and brothers, Matt and Anthony “Tony” Brletich.
A time of sharing and remembrance for both George and Katie will be at 2:00 pm. Saturday, January 3, 2015 in the Dougherty Funeral Home with time to visit with the family and friends beginning at 1:00 pm.
