Kenneth G. Swart, 53, longtime resident of Hibbing died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at home in Hibbing. He was born on August 4, 1964 to Everett and Geraldine (Susich) Swart in Minneapolis, MN. Ken favorite pastime was restoring old cars. It was his life and passion. He was a member of the Rust Rodents Rat Rod Club.
Ken is survived by his children, Alicia (Troy) Pauna, and Kenny Swart, both of Hibbing, his grandchildren, Trent Workman and Riley Sandstrom, his mother and step-father, Geraldine (Harold) Himle, also of Hibbing, his dear companion, Mary Sandstrom, Chisholm, MN, step children, Jessica Sandstrom, Hibbing, and Justin Workman, Hibbing, two brothers, Lee Swart and Michael Swart, both of Hibbing, and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Swart, his paternal grandparents, George and Eva Swart, and maternal grandparents, Steve and Lois Susich.
Per Ken’s request there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
