Kerry M. Otteson, 49, Hibbing died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.  She was born September 14, 1967 to Francis Kenneth and Carol J. (Woitel) Wilcox in Hibbing.  She was employed with Grandma’s in the Park in Hibbing as a line cook.  She was a member of local bowling and dart leagues, enjoyed cross stitching, scrapbooking, shoes, and snow-globes.  She also was a book collector and avid reader.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Otteson Jr., Hibbing, six children, Jess Yale, Thief River Falls, MN, Wayne Yale, Chisholm, MN, Cameron Yale, Duluth, MN, Nick Carter, Hibbing, MN, Savanna St. Germaine, Chisholm, MN, and Mason St. Germaine, Hibbing, MN, mother, Carol Newton, Chisholm, MN, siblings, Kim Wilcox, and Kenny (Ginger) Wilcox, both of Hibbing, grandsons, Nathanial and Jayden Yale, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, F. Ken Wilcox.

Funeral services for Kerry will be 1:00pm, Monday, February 6, 2017 at Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Monday.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
