Kevin John Giacobbi

Kevin J. Giacobbi, 50, Hibbing, formerly of Livonia, MI passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN.  Kevin had resided in Hibbing for over 20 years, coming from Michigan.  He was born in Detroit, MI on January 11, 1971 to James Vincent and Shirley Ann (Denga) Giacobbi.  He graduated from Eastern Michigan with a Bachelors Degree.  Kevin was also a longtime employee with Delta Airlines.  Kevin was a member of Up North Bass Fishing Club, and the Sportsman’s dart team.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, archery, and going golfing. Another one of Kevin’s favorite pastimes was online gaming.  He especially enjoyed taking Ember grouse hunting

He is survived by his longtime significant other, Lori Foley, Hibbing, step-daughter, Koral Rachuy, Atlanta, GA, dear friends, Erica (Shane) Gray, Erick and Hannah Gray, and Susanne Davis, all of Hibbing, along with many friends and family in Michigan and Arizona.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Shirley.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to www.cff.org.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
