Kevin P. Thornton, 46, Hibbing, died peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2015, in his home. He was born March 12, 1968, in Hibbing, to Joseph and Phyllis Thornton. Kevin graduated from Hibbing High School and had worked as a baker for local businesses.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Phyllis Thornton, of Hibbing; seven siblings: Kathy (Mark) Gornick of Ramsey, MN, Joe (Barb) Thornton of Ramsey, MN, Lisa (Dan) Samsa of Side Lake, MN, Jeff Thornton of Chisholm, Darin (Diana) Thornton of Hibbing, Tracy (Laural) Thornton of Isanti, MN and Pat (Alicia) Thornton of Hibbing; and by eleven nieces and nephews: Sarah (Luke) Legatt, Elizabeth and Jennifer Gornick, Madeline and Danielle Thornton, Angela and Chris Samsa, Seth Butler, Tayler Thornton, and Hannah and Tyler Thornton.
