            Larry Joe Majewski, 75, lifelong resident of Goodland, MN died Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN.  He was born on May 13, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MN to Fredrick and Lois (Morgan) Majewski.  A graduate of Nashwauk High School, Nashwauk, MN and Bemidji State University, Bemidji, MN, he went on to own and operate Fred’s Market and Majewski Drug in Nashwauk, MN with his wife, Vicki (Latick) Majewski for 40 years, retiring in 2018.   In his earlier years, Larry enjoyed deer and duck hunting, was a member of Ducks Unlimited, and at one time was a Firearm Safety Instructor.  He had been a member of the Nashwauk Area Chamber of Commerce, the Goodland Volunteer Fire Department, and the Nashwauk Area Community Fund Board of Directors.

            Larry is survived by his wife Vicki; son Adam Majewski (Holly) and family, Goodland, MN; daughter Julie Short (Tim) and family, North Richland Hills, TX; son Aaron Majewski (Brandy) and family, Fort Collins, CO; sister Janice Oddo, Goodland, MN, and family; brother Lynn Majewski (Cindy) and family, Goodland, MN; sister-in-law, Lois (Latick) Mehle, Buhl, MN; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends in Minnesota and Lake Havasu City, AZ.

            Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Lois, his grandparents, and nephew Cy Shock.

            A private family service for Larry will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
