Lee A. Woo

Lee Alan Woo, 44, of Meadowlands, passed away on November 16, 2024 in Hibbing, MN. Lee was born December 12, 1979 to Rose (Kortakaas) and Allen Woo in Phoenix Arizona. Lee graduated from Floodwood High School in 1998 where he loved playing football so much, he never wanted to graduate. Lee was a goofy, adventurous guy, and always a kid at heart. He enjoyed riding anything with a motor, jumping on the trampoline with his nieces and nephews, and eating all the sweets, especially waffles with lots of syrup. Lee was a guy who was always ready to lend a hand if anyone needed it, and was your dog’s best friend anytime he was around.

Lee is survived by his father Allen (Alace Anaya) Woo of New Mexico and also his father Edward Colclasure Jr. (Judy Kortakaas) of Meadowlands, MN. Siblings; Tania Woo, Stephanie Anaya-Woo, Allen (Bryana) Woo II, all of New Mexico, Julia Colclasure, Edward Colclasure III, Ryan Colclasure, June Montgomery and Timothy Montgomery all of Minnesota. Beloved nieces and nephews; Keyani, Khavren, Aireana, Ana, Taylorann, Shia, Noel, Thessaly, Nyrie, Cloey, Elijah, Anthony, Charlotte, and Davion; many aunts, uncles, cousins, his other mom Laurie, and every dog he ever met, but especially Bandit and Chjett who he raised from newborn puppies.

Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Colclasure, maternal grandparents Maude and Howard Anderson, paternal grandparents Robert and Janet Woo, the woman he loved, Cristyna Watson, Mama Sue Lynn, and all the best dogs, especially Buck.

Family said goodbye to Lee in private although A celebration of Lee’s life will be held in the Summer of 2025, with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery in Meadowlands, MN.
