LeRoy Webster
LeRoy Webster, 86, Hibbing, died Thursday May 31, 2012, at Fairview University Medical Center—Mesabi, Hibbing. He was born in Tomahawk, WI on Oct. 31, 1925, to Ernest Fetherson and Orda Webster. LeRoy was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, and had worked as an engineer for the Hibbing Public Utilities. He was united in marriage to Avonelle Unger in June of 1968. LeRoy was an artist who enjoyed painting and drawing as well as the art work of fellow artists. He also enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by six children: Bill (Susan) Unger of Hibbing, James (Lori Neutilla) Unger of Keewatin, Terry Unger of Hibbing, Gladys (Myron) Koskela of Hibbing, Perry Webster of Minneapolis, and Randy Webster of Floodwood, MN; by 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Avonelle, in 2011 and by his parents.
