Lisa Rae Hodge

Lisa Rae Hodge, 48, Hibbing died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN.  Lisa was born on October 21, 1969 to Larry and Patricia (Kalis) Graveline in Langdon, ND.  She attended and graduated from Grand Forks schools, and had been a resident of Hibbing for the past 30 years.  She was employed as a receptionist for Mesaba Animal Hospital in Hibbing.  She was a member of A.Y.S.A. committee for youth soccer, was active in Iverson Skating Academy, Girl Scouts, and Relay for Life.  One of Lisa’s favorite past time was walking, but mostly Lisa’s life revolved around her daughter Meghan.  Meghan meant everything to her.  She never missed any of Meghan’s many sporting events, or activities.

Lisa is survived by her daughter, Meghan Hodge, Hibbing, MN, mother, Patricia Graveline, Grand Forks, ND, her father and mother-in-laws, Bud (Mary) Hodge, Hibbing, her brother-in-law, William “Bill” (Peggy) Hodge, Hibbing, MN, two nieces, Kelly (Bob) Polcher, Fargo, ND, Blair Hodge, Burnsville, MN, cousin, Renee Larson, Boston, MA, and her two beloved dogs, Lulu and Ella.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hodge Jr., in 2010, and father, Larry Graveline.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing.  The Rev. Fr. Beau Braun will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 12:00 noon funeral Mass at the church on Monday.  A private interment will be held in Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
