Louise A. Blazina, 95, Hibbing, died Saturday March 23, 2013, at Guardian Angels Health Care Center, Hibbing. She was born on May 10, 1917, in Wilpen near Hibbing, to Louis and Katherine Zeni. Louise graduated from Hibbing High School and had worked as a secretary at Ryan Brothers Transfer for over 50 years. She was a member of the Elks club and enjoyed trips to Fortune Bay for bingo with her friends.
She is survived by a sister, Ann (Bernard) Sotzsky, of Frederick, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil J. Blazina, in 2008; by her parents; a sister, Alice Tafoya; and brothers Joseph Zeni and Art Zeni.
Per Louise’s wishes, a private graveside service was held at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.
