Louise Mae “Cookie” Robeck

 Louise M. “Cookie” Robeck, 74, lifelong resident of Hibbing passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN, surrounded by her family. She was born August 17, 1950, to William and Louisa (Roonzani) Howard in Hibbing. Cookie graduated from Hibbing Schools, and attended some college. She was employed with the unemployment department for the State of MN with offices in Hibbing. She entered the Sacrament of Marriage with Steven Robeck on December 14, 1973, in Minneapolis, MN. Cookie was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. She was very involved with the All-Class Reunion Committee. Cookie was an avid reader, loved playing cards, crocheting, especially afghans, planting flowers, gardening, and loved spending time with her family. 

 Cookie is survived by her husband, Steve Robeck, Hibbing, children, Amy (Jason) Moengen, Cross Lake, MN, and Bill (Sara) Robeck, Plymouth, MN, brother, Frank (DeDe) Howard, Hibbing, along with her four grandchildren, Dane Robeck, Clara Robeck, Owen Robeck, and Hadley Moengen. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Louisa.

 Funeral services for Cookie will be 11:30 am, Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. The Rev. Fr. Bill Skarich will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 am at the funeral home on Tuesday. A private interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
