Lucille E. Crnkovich, 93, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing. She was born on November 3, 1919 to Marko and Rose (Naglich) Maras in Hibbing. Lucille was a good Croation Mother who’s home and family were the most important thing to her in her life. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook and raise her family. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing.
Lucille is survived by her three children, Marty Crnkovich, Patrick Crnkovich, and Marlene Rose, a sister, Ann Kelly, all of Hibbing, two grandchildren, Mark Rose, Holland MI., and Melissa (Craig) Monroe, Madisonville, LA., and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marko and Rose (Naglich) Maras, her husband, Martin Crnkovich in 1996, 4 brothers, Robert, Nick, John, and George Maras, and two sisters, Mary Starcevic, and Catherine Pahule.
Funeral services for Lucille will be held at 11:00am, Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. The Rev. Fr. Gabriel Waweru will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be from 5-7pm, Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing with recitation of the Rosary at 6:30pm. The visitation will then continue from 10:00am until the 11:00am funeral Mass at the church on Monday. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
