Lucille H. “Lou” Miskulin Mehle, 92, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Cornerstone Villa in Buhl, MN. She had been a lifelong resident of Hibbing. She was born January 20 th , 1925 in Hibbing, MN to Dan and Helen Miskulin. She was a 1943 graduate of Hibbing High School. Lucille worked as a secretary in Washington DC during World War II. Later she was a secretary for the United Steelworkers Union and St. Louis County.
She enjoyed playing bridge with the ladies in her bridge club, and always enjoyed her trips to the casino. Her family and her faith were the most important things in her life.
She is survived by her son, Mike (Kim) Mehle of Hibbing; daughter, Peggy (Jeff) Boss of Eden Prairie, MN; grandsons Brent Boss, Minneapolis, MN, and Mike Boss, Burnsville, MN, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Mehle, parents, Dan and Helen Miskulin, brothers John Miskulin, Rudy Miskulin, Tom Miskulin, Paul Miskulin, Mike Miskulin, Roy Miskulin, Nick Miskulin, and George Rudelic, and sister Anne Rudelic Pecharich.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Hibbing, MN on Saturday, March 25 th at 12:00 Noon. Burial at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing. MN Arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing, MN
