Lyle Elmer White
Lyle E. White, 72, Hibbing, died Thursday, January 30, 2014, in his home.  He was born in LaPorte, IN on July 16, 1941, to Elmer and Myrl White.  Lyle was united in marriage to Colleen Weis on August 9, 1959, in Bemidji and he worked as a construction electrician for 34 years as a member of IBEW Local 294, retiring in 2003.  He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Puposky, MN.  Lyle enjoyed fishing, hunting and card playing, but most of all he enjoyed family time at his “shack” north of Bemidji.  His grandkids were his pride and joy.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Colleen, of Hibbing; three children: Timothy White of Hibbing, David (Jean) White of Janesville, MN and Michael (Audra) White of Hibbing; six grandchildren: Trista White and Travis White of Hibbing, Amanda White—Jensen of Rockaway, NJ, Jeramy (Sasha) Jensen of Yuma, AZ, Charlee Colleen White of Hibbing, and Jessica Cole of Scottsdale, AZ; and two great-grandchildren, Justyne Orazem and Presten Adolphs—White.  Lyle was preceded in death by a son, Kevin White; his parents; a brother, Ray White; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, February 3, 2014, at Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing, from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service.  The Rev.
