Marcella K. Kezele, 90, Grand Rapids, formerly of Nashwauk, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Evergreen Terrace in Grand Rapids. She was born in Stearns County, Minnesota on January 20, 1922 and was a longtime Nashwauk resident. Marcella was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by three children, Myrna (William) Wilson, Oak Harbor, WA, Karen Kezele, Walker, MN, and Greg (Mary) Kezele, Pine City, MN, 2 grandchildren, Elissa (Derek) Golden and Greg (Lisa) Wilson, 3 great grandchildren, Justine Wilson, and Noah and Emma Golden. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1973 her brother, Lawrence Kasper, and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. Saturday, December 22, 2012 in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Dennis Hoffman celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be in Church Saturday for one hour before Mass. Burial will be in Nashwauk Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, William Wilson, Greg Wilson, Derek Golden, Martin Stimac, Randy Schroetter, and Jamie Schroetter. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
