Margaret J. Eaton

Margaret (Peggy) Eaton of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025. Peggy was born on December 31, 1942, in Hibbing, MN, to Thomas Jr & Mary (Bovitz) Eaton.

 She was raised in Hibbing and graduated from Hibbing High School in June 1960. Peggy received her college degree from Bemidji State University in 1964. After graduation she moved to Minneapolis and began her career in the business sector. She held several executive positions with different companies until her move to Santa Fe, NM in the mid-1980s. She finished her working career with the College of Santa Fe as the manager of their bookstore. Peggy had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Peggy is survived by her brother, John (Alison) of Hibbing, MN; nieces, Alicia Romero of Santa Fe, NM, and Jessilyn Eaton of Rio Rancho, NM. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Mary Eaton; and brother, Thomas Eaton III. 

A private burial will take place at the family plot at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing, MN at a later date. Thanks for the compassionate care provided by Santa Fe Care Center and Roadrunner Hospice Service prior to her passing, it was greatly appreciated.
