Margaret “Peg” Gray Kepler
Margaret “Peg” Gray Kepler, 82, lifelong Hibbing resident died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Guardian Angeles in Hibbing. She was born in Hibbing to Max and Margaret Gray on March 6, 1931 and had been employed at Abe Mathews and Barr Engineering. Peg was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her children, Gerald E. Kepler, Sacramento, CA, Karen Marie (Joseph) Swabb, Wells, NV, David Gray Kepler, Hibbing, Irene (Dan) Pullar, Hibbing, and Molly (Bud) VanWagner, St. Paul, MN, her brother, John M. (Corina) Gray, Orlando, FL, sister, Irene Vaught, Gastonia, NC, 7 grandchildren, Katie, Allie, and Jake Pullar, Molly and Kevyn Swabb, and Jake and Samantha Kepler, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Chloe Grace Pullar Rongen, brother, Bill “Laddie” Gray and her brother in law, Lee Kepler.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm. Saturday, September 21, 2013 in the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jim Deters officiating. Visitation will be in Church Saturday morning beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will be at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
