Marian D. Brown, 76, Hibbing, formerly of Keewatin, died Wed.,Nov. 12 ,2014 in Hibbing. She was born Feb. 15, 1938 in Keewatin to John and Mary Draskovich. Before moving back to Keewatin, Marian had lived in Seattle where she worked in the registry section of the US Post Office. She was a member of; St. Mary’s Catholic Church, was a chaplain for its’ prayer chain, the Keewatin VFW Women’s Auxiliary and the senior citizens.
She is survived by her son Duane (Ann) Brown of Keewatin, a brother Joe Draskovich of Chisholm, MN, a sister in law; June Draskovich of Arden Hills, her granddaughter Madison Brown and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Oren Brown, brothers; Frank, Matt and John Draskovich, and sisters in law; Elizabeth Draskovich, Bernice Draskovich and Dolly Draskovich.
Private services will be held at a later date.
