Marilyn Carol Twa
Marilyn C. Twa, 67, longtime resident of Hibbing died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing. She was born to Charles and Violet (Lillis) Robinson in Hibbing. A homemaker by trade, Marilyn was very active with the Salvation Army in Hibbing. She would accompany her clergy on home visits, she had a lot to do with the annual auction, and was a member of the women’s ministries. Marilyn was an avid collector. She loved playing video games, traveling with her husband “Buzzy”. She was also known as the family time capsule; she could recollect most facts and stories about her family whenever asked.
She is survived by her three sons, Charles Douglas (Patricia) Twa, Sabinal, TX, Robert Leigh (Dorothy) Twa, Alexandria, MN, and Leigh Ra Charles (Sheila Martin) Twa, Alexandria, MN, two sisters, Karen (Michael) Kempa, Iron, MN, and Ethelyn (Mike) of Enid, OK, 18 grandchildren, 21, great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Violet (Lillis) Robinson, daughter, Carolyn Twa, her husband Raymond Charles Twa in 1994, and her four brothers, Les, Charles, Gary, and Dave Robinson.
Funeral services for Marilyn will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Chisholm Baptist Church in Chisholm. Lt. Debbie Stahl will officiate. Visitation will be from 10-11am at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in the Chisholm Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
