Marjorie L. Croteau, 84, Nashwauk, died Monday, May 30, 2016, at her home. She was born in Minneapolis, MN, to Elmer and Alma (Loeffler) Hohenstein on July 14, 1931. She was a homemaker and a member of Nashwauk Lutheran Church.
Marjorie is survived by her sons, Daniel M. (Elyse) Thomas, New Brighton, MN, Lawrence D. (Patti) Thomas, Nashwauk, Richard L Thomas, Mounds View, Alan R. (Jenny) Thomas, Colfax, WI, and Scott A. (Marcy) Thomas, Eau Claire, Wis., 4 siblings, Lee (Dick) Carlson, Roseville, Minn., Karen Lundquist, Brooklyn Park, Minn., Tom (Jan) Hohenstein, Moro, Ill., and Harlan Hohenstein, Blaine, Minn., 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Thomas and Laurence Croteau, brother, Don Hohenstein, and two infant children, Michael and Penny.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm. Thursday, June 2, 2016 in the Nashwauk Lutheran Church with the Rev. Aaron Lofgren officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
