Mary Adamich, 95, St. Anthony, MN, formerly of Hibbing, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014 in St. Anthony. She was born March 2, 1919 in the Webb Location near Hibbing to Anton and Filomena Potami. She married Edward Adamich on June 17, 1939. They made their home in Hibbing, where Mary dedicated her life to her family and her home.
She is survived by her children Marilyn Porter of Brooklyn Park, MN, Tom Adamich of Vadnais Heights, MN and Bob Adamich of Shoreview, MN, her grandchildren Charles Adamich, JoLee Adamich Chou and Jeremy Adamich, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great–great grandson along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Adamich Sr. in 1998, her son Edward Adamich Jr., brothers: Domenic, Ralph and Anton Potami Jr. and a granddaughter Antonette Morrison.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Brian Lederer will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitaiton will be in the church from 10 am. until service time on Monday. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
