MARY JANE BIRD
Mary Jane Bird 74, of Kelly Lake Mn gained her angel wings Monday, September 3, 2018.  She was born February 24, 1944 at Bigfork Mn to Robert and Mary (Gilbert) Powers.

Mary and Ted Bird were happily married for 22 years.  Together they lovingly blended their families.  She leaves a legacy of the simple life, enjoying family and her grandchildren who fondly called her “Grandma Crazy.”

Mary had a zest for adventure, hunting, fishing, four wheeling and spending time at Thistledew.  She took pride in her many flower beds and sitting by the fire.

Mary is survived by her husband Ted and children:  Tim (Kay) Cornelius, Brian (Tammy) Cornelius, Kim (Steve) Cornelius and Bob (Janet) Cornelius, Kari (Fabian) Manderson, Gaylene Bird, and Danny (Deanna) Bird.  Along with 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  Brothers:  Jim (Ronnie), Gary, David (Buddy), Rick, Dennis, Billy, Roger, and Larry.  Sisters:  Irene, Shirley, Gloria and Wanda.

Those who have gone before her: Parents Mary and Robert, Grandson Tony,  her first husband, Darrell Corneliu,  great granddaughter Olivia and her brother Robert.

A gather of family and friends will be at 11 am, Friday September 7 at Dougherty Funeral home, Hibbing MN.  A Christian service will follow at 12 pm.
