Mary Ardean Coder
Mary A. Stuckey Coder went to be with the Lord at Chris Jensen Nursing Home, Duluth, on November 3, 2013. Mary was born April 12, 1916, in Meridian, MS to Claude and Mary Stuckey. She served two years in the US Army during World War II. After the war, she met Glen R. Coder and they were married in 1946. They moved to Kelly Lake, MN and raised three children. Mary was a homemaker and a hairstylist out of her home. She loved crocheting, camping, and fishing. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and kindness, her selfless character and for always giving of herself and leading by example. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She was faithful to the Lord in her spirit and she is now at peace and joy with the Lord. She will be sadly missed and remembered with fond and loving memories.
She is survived by her children: Susan (Skip) Johnson of Hibbing, MN, David Coder of Duluth, MN and Walter Lynne) Coder of Duluth; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; her parents and siblings.
