Mary Ann Furman

Mary Ann Furman, 99, Virginia, formerly of Hibbing died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at her residence in Virginia.  She was born in Carson Lake Location on January 1, 1915 to George and Mary Zidarich and had lived in Chicago and Kelly Lake before moving to Hibbing and Virginia.    She had been an LPN at the McNeil Hospital in Chicago.  She graduated from the Duluth School of Nursing.  Mary enjoyed baking, taking drives in her car, and visiting with her friends.  She was meticulous in her sewing.
She is survived by her friends in Kelly Lake and Hibbing and several cousins throughout the country.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband Walter Furman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am., Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Gabriel Waweru celebrating the Funeral Mass.  Visitation will be in Church starting at 10:30 am.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
