Mary J. Gensler, 69, Hibbing died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN. She was born on October 28, 1946 to Raymond J. and Harriet K (Martin) Braun in Duluth. Mary was employed as a LPN with Heritage Manor. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. She enjoyed crocheting, gardens, flowers, but most of all, her grandkids were her hobby. She loved them unconditionally.
She is survived by her son, Martin (Kristen) Gensler, Hibbing, siblings, Kathryn (Dennis) Forsman, Proctor, MN, Jeffrey (June) Braun, Grand Rapids, MN, Joseph (Kathleen) Braun, Bemidji, MN, and Marilyn Barcus, Hibbing, two grandchildren that were the love of her life, Devin and Dayton Gensler, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Raymond L. Braun.
Funeral services for Mary will be 11:00am, Monday, October 31, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. The Rev. Fr. David Forsman will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Mass at the church on Monday. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
