Mary June Rossetter
Mary June Rossetter, 83, Hibbing, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014 in her home. She was born Nov. 14, 1930 in Hibbing, the daughter of Gustav and Mary Moberg. On August 26, 1950 she married Dale Rossetter and together they raised their 3 children. Mary had worked as a secretary for the Hibbing school district. Besides being a Hibbing Bocce Club “star” she was also a member of the Elks Lodge and the First Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren she loved. She was a voracious reader, a world traveler and a crossword puzzle enthusiast. Her sense of community led her to volunteer for many things most notably at the hospital and at the Hibbing Mineview.
She is survived by her children; Michael (Irene Sundvall) Rossetter of Saginaw, MN, Chuck Rossetter of Vadnais Heights, MN and Susan Englund of Willow, AK, her grandchildren; Elizabeth Rossetter, Joseph Rossetter Steven Rossetter Jacob Rossetter, Nathan Englund and Kristen Englund and her nephews Tom Moberg and David Rossetter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dale and her brothers Donald, Martin and Rodney.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, in the First Lutheran Church, Hibbing with a visitation in the church from 12 Noon until service time. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
